HKU 2026 Summer Workshop on Statistics and Data Analytics |
This workshop is organized by the Statistics Group within the Innovation and Information Management Area of the HKU Business School.
The HKU 2026 Summer Workshop on Statistics and Data Analytics will take place in Hong Kong on June 17–18, 2026, right after the IMS Asia Pacific Rim Meeting (IMS-APRM 2026).
The workshop will be organized in conjunction with the 1st Asian New Researchers Conference of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS NRC). Day 1 will feature plenary talks by leading scholars, and Day 2 will focus on short talks, posters and mentoring activities for early-career researchers in statistics, probability, optimization, biostatistics and data science.
The events are located in the Jockey Club Tower, Centennial Campus, HKU.

Registration |
Registration is free, but we still need registration in order to properly arrange the logistics and workshop space.
The registration deadline is tentatively set for June 3, but we may close registration earlier if the number of participants reaches the capacity of the venue.
